Mini PTZ plugs into a standard UK socket using the supplied mains lead. Plan for a socket within roughly 10 metres of the mounting point. If there is no usable power nearby, the Solar 360 Mini is the better choice.
Can I use WiFi without paying for a SIM plan?
Yes. Connect the camera to your own WiFi and there is no monthly connectivity charge from us. The 4G plan is optional and only needed if you want to use mobile connectivity.
What if WiFi does not reach the camera?
Activate the pre-installed multi-network SIM instead. It can connect through EE, O2, Three or Vodafone and selects the strongest usable network at the site.
Can I control the camera remotely?
Yes. Use the CamHipro app to pan and tilt the view, operate the 20× optical zoom, watch live, receive alerts and replay or download recordings.
Does it record continuously?
Yes. The included 64GB microSD card stores around three weeks of continuous footage under typical settings. Storage can be upgraded to 256GB, and recordings can be viewed remotely.
Do I need a professional installer?
Most customers install it themselves: mount the camera, connect power and scan the QR code in the app. If you get stuck, free UK-based support is included for the life of the camera.
