4GCCTV multi-network streaming

One SIM. All four UK networks.

Your camera is not tied to one operator. The SIM manages access across EE, O2, Three or Vodafone and can move to another supported network when needed—while your plan and support stay directly with 4GCCTV.

Coverage without the guesswork

Signal changes from site to site. Your SIM can change with it.

A single-network SIM can leave a perfectly good camera offline simply because the wrong mast serves that location. The 4GCCTV SIM keeps all four major UK networks available and handles operator selection behind the scenes.

  • Ideal for rural and hard-to-reach locations
  • No choosing one network and hoping it is the right one
  • No swapping SIM cards or managing four separate contracts

Network switching, handled

It can change network. You never change SIM.

The SIM is not locked to a single mobile operator. Network selection happens automatically in the background, helping your camera use an available supported connection without a site visit just to replace the SIM.

More recording, not more data

Your camera can record around the clock without eating your allowance.

Footage is stored locally on the camera. Mobile data is only used when you connect remotely to watch live or replay a recording, so even the Light plan can suit a camera recording 24/7.

Good to know

Streaming SIM questions, answered.

If you are unsure which allowance suits the way you monitor your site, our UK team can help.

Do new 4GCCTV cameras include the SIM?

Yes. Every new 4G camera comes with the multi-network SIM already installed. You simply activate the plan that best matches your viewing needs.

Does 24/7 recording use my mobile data?

No. Recordings are stored locally on the camera. Data is used only while you watch live or play stored footage back remotely.

Do I need one plan for each camera?

Yes. Each 4G camera has its own SIM and therefore needs its own active streaming plan.

Can I use my own SIM instead?

Yes. Our cameras are fully unlocked. The included 4GCCTV SIM is designed to simplify setup and provide access across all four major UK networks.

Will the SIM change networks for me?

Yes. It is not locked to one operator, and network selection is handled automatically between the supported EE, O2, Three and Vodafone connections. You do not need to visit the camera to swap network SIM cards.

Who do I contact if there is a connection problem?

Contact 4GCCTV directly. We manage the plan and support the camera, so our UK team can help with activation, connectivity, the app and the hardware in one place.

Which plan should I choose?

Light is suited to occasional checks, Standard covers regular monitoring for most users, and Heavy is best if you expect frequent or longer live-viewing sessions.
